ISLAMABAD, Nov 8 (Alliance News): Through the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program (PMYSDP), the National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) has provided skill development training to 71,618 marginalized youth from 2020 to 2024 across underdeveloped areas of Sindh and Balochistan.
According to official sources, 49,888 youth in Sindh and 21,730 in Balochistan received skill scholarships, equipping them with valuable technical skills to enhance employment prospects. This initiative, focused on inclusive growth, is aimed at uplifting youth in economically disadvantaged regions.
In Sindh, youth from highly marginalized areas like Tharparkar (1,280), Umerkot (908), and Kamber Shahdadkot (250) benefited from the program.
In Balochistan, training reached youth in Barkhan (69), Chagai (114), and Bolan (224), empowering them with essential skills for better livelihoods.
The Prime Minister’s Youth Program continues to emphasize skill development for underprivileged youth, fostering economic self-sufficiency and inclusive development across Pakistan.
