ISLAMABAD, March 20 (Alliance News): Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP), Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan, led a high-level delegation to the COMSTECH Secretariat to explore collaborations in youth development, science, and technology.
The delegation included NAVTTC Chairperson Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, HEC Chairman Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, HEC Executive Director Prof. Dr. Zia ul Qayyum, NAVTTC Executive Director Muhammad Aamir Jan, and senior officials from PMYP.
COMSTECH Coordinator General Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary welcomed the delegation and presented an overview of COMSTECH’s initiatives to empower young scientists and professionals in Pakistan and the OIC region.
Prof. Choudhary highlighted COMSTECH’s capacity-building programs focused on equipping youth with modern skills, fostering innovation, research, and scientific excellence.
Lauding these efforts, Rana Mashood emphasized the need for stronger partnerships to promote youth-centric programs in skill development, technology, and entrepreneurship.
The two sides agreed to collaborate on science, technology, and professional training initiatives, marking a major step toward enhancing Pakistan’s scientific and technological landscape while creating new opportunities for young professionals in emerging fields.
