President Zardari Calls for Immediate End to Israeli Aggression on International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian People

ISLAMABAD, Nov 29 (Alliance News): On the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, President Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing aggression, calling for immediate international intervention to halt the genocide of Palestinians.

“The global conscience cannot ignore the plight of millions facing unprecedented hardships due to Israeli occupation.

The continued occupation and disregard for international law are the biggest obstacles to peace in the region,” President Zardari stated in his message.

Pakistan’s Support for Palestine
Reiterating Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity, the president emphasized support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent State of Palestine with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, based on the pre-1967 borders.

He highlighted the resilience of the Palestinian people amid suffering caused by Israel’s genocidal military campaign, which has resulted in the deaths of over 45,000 Palestinians in the past year, including women and children.

Humanitarian Crisis and International Law Violations
President Zardari denounced Israel’s deliberate obstruction of humanitarian aid, including the work of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), leaving millions in dire need of life-saving assistance.

He further condemned Israeli actions as a blatant violation of international law, endangering peace and stability in the region and beyond.

Call to Action
The president urged the United Nations Security Council to implement an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza and ensure unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid.

He supported accountability measures against Israel and its leadership, including those initiated by the International Court of Justice.

A Shared Responsibility
“Let this day remind us of our shared responsibility to ensure justice and equality for the Palestinian people. Pakistan remains steadfast in its support for their inalienable rights to self-determination,” the president concluded.
