Lahore, Nov 4 (Alliance News): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the government’s commitment to creating a favorable environment for foreign investment during a meeting with a business delegation from the United Kingdom on Sunday.
He highlighted that ensuring a conducive environment for investors is a top government priority.
The Prime Minister informed the delegation, led by UK business leader Zubair Isa, that streamlined services for businesses are being provided through ‘One Window Operations’ under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
These services are aimed at facilitating the business and trader community in Pakistan.
Inviting UK-based investors to consider opportunities in Pakistan, PM Sharif noted the recent positive trajectory of the country’s economy, citing government initiatives that have bolstered investor confidence. Discussions also focused on expanding business-to-business ties between Pakistan and the UK.
The delegation praised PM Shehbaz Sharif’s economic policies, which they acknowledged as instrumental in stabilizing the economy and promoting sustainable development.
