Russian Delegation Praises Pakistani Art at PNCA, Promotes Cultural Ties

ISLAMABAD, Oct 29 (Alliance News): A Russian delegation, led by Speaker of the Federation Council of Russia, Ms. Valentina Matvienko, visited the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) on Tuesday, expressing admiration for the artistic depth and creativity of Pakistani artists showcased across various galleries.

The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Bilal Karim, Director of Publications Research and Reference (PRR), along with PNCA’s Designer of Visual Arts Division (VAD), Saba Zia, who guided the guests through the Council’s galleries.

The visit provided the Russian delegation with an in-depth view of Pakistan’s artistic landscape, highlighting both classic and modern masterpieces by renowned Pakistani artists.

During the tour, discussions centered on shared cultural interests and potential collaborations, with both sides exploring new avenues to strengthen cultural ties between Pakistan and Russia.
