ISLAMABAD, Apr 19 (Alliance News): Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe, arrived in Islamabad on Sunday for a historic official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
Upon his arrival, the Rwandan Foreign Minister was warmly received by the Director General Africa from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Rwandan High Commissioner to Pakistan, and other senior officials.
During his visit, Minister Nduhungirehe is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chairman Senate, and several key federal ministers. He will also officially inaugurate the High Commission of the Republic of Rwanda in Islamabad.
In addition to political engagements, the Rwandan Foreign Minister will interact with members of Pakistan’s business community to explore avenues for economic cooperation and trade.
This is the first-ever official visit by a Rwandan Foreign Minister following the opening of diplomatic missions in both Kigali and Islamabad, marking a significant milestone in Pakistan-Rwanda relations. The visit is expected to pave the way for deeper cooperation in diplomacy, trade, and development between the two friendly nations.
