PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Vows Justice for Martyred Police Officials

ISLAMABAD, Aug 23 (Alliance News): Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic martyrdom of 14 police officials in a brutal attack by bandits in Punjab.

In a press release issued by the party secretariat, Bilawal strongly condemned the incident, emphasizing that maintaining law and order is the responsibility of the provincial government.

He urged the provincial authorities to take swift and decisive action against the criminal elements responsible for the heinous act, stating, “I hope that those responsible for the martyrdom of these 14 brave Punjab Police officials will soon be brought to justice.”

Bilawal Bhutto paid tribute to the fallen officers, describing them as the “brave sons of the nation” and vowed that their sacrifices would not be in vain. He called for a thorough investigation into the incident and ensured that the injured officials receive proper medical treatment.

“Praise to the officials and soldiers of the Punjab Police whose sacrifices in the line of duty are unforgettable,” Bilawal Bhutto stated. He also extended his heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the families of the martyred officials.
