Edhi founded the Edhi Foundation, which provides various social services across Pakistan, including ambulance services, shelters, and rehabilitation centers.
The president praised Edhi’s selfless contributions to Pakistan and humanity, recognizing him as the country’s most outstanding humanitarian figure.
He noted that Edhi’s work transcended boundaries of race, faith, and social status, and that his foundation established hospitals, orphanages, and other vital social services.
President Zardari offered condolences and prayed for Edhi’s soul to rest in peace.”
