He emphasized that inflation had significantly decreased, and prices of essential commodities had fallen due to the government’s efforts.

He highlighted that inflation had decreased to single digits, dollar smuggling had been curbed, and IT-related exports had risen substantially.

International institutions such as Moody’s, Fitch, and Bloomberg have also recognized Pakistan’s economic improvement, with Bloomberg citing a positive outlook for Pakistan’s stock exchange.

Remittances from overseas Pakistanis have reached record levels, adding to the positive economic indicators.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s meetings with various world leaders, including Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Dr. Yunus, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly were fruitful, strengthening Pakistan’s international relationships.

Tarar also addressed national security concerns, particularly Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war against terrorism.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to fighting terrorism under the National Action Plan and restoring peace in cities like Karachi. On the international front, he condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza and reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for Palestine.

In domestic matters, Tarar assured that the government is committed to providing relief to the public, citing recent subsidies on electricity and reduced prices for food and fuel.
