Seven reports of Standing committee presented in Senate

ISLAMABAD, Feb 20 (APP): As many as seven reports of various Standing Committees on Tuesday were presented in the Senate.

Senator Irfan Saddique presented the report of the Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training on several bills. These include the report on The Al-Ala University Bill, 2023, which aims to establish Al-Ala University, the report on The Islamabad Capital Territory Students Unions Bill, 2023, concerning the establishment and regulation of Students Unions in Educational Institutions of the Islamabad Capital Territory, the report on The Imam Bukhari International Islamic Institute Bill, 2023, which seeks to establish the Imam Bukhari International Islamic Institute in Sialkot, and the report on The Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Technology Bill, 2023, introduced by Senator Syed Muhammad Sabir Shah on July 24, 2023, aimed at establishing the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Technology.

 

 

Senator Mohammad Humayun Mohmand presented the report of the Senate Standing Committee on National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination on two bills.

These include the report on The Injured Persons (Medical Aid) (Amendment) Bill, 2023, which seeks to further amend the Injured Persons (Medical Aid) Act, 2004, and the report on The Pakistan Emergency Treatment Coverage Programme Bill, 2023, which aims to establish the Pakistan Emergency Treatment Coverage Programme.

Additionally, Senator Mohammad Humayun Mohmand laid the report of the Senate Standing Committee on Commerce on The Imports and Exports (Control) (Amendment) Bill, 2023, which proposes further amendments to the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, 1950.
