UN Raises Alarms Over Worsening Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza, Urges Israel Against Evacuation Orders

United Nations, Oct 8 (Alliance News):The United Nations has expressed serious concerns about the escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza, as airstrikes and ground assaults continue.

The UN warns that Israel’s evacuation orders will not ensure civilians’ safety, as Gaza lacks safe zones, food, medicine, and water.

UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric emphasized the dangers faced by displaced families, with hospitals forced to shut down and northern Gaza left in dire straits.

As southern Gaza becomes overcrowded and under-resourced, the crisis deepens, affecting over 50,000 displaced Palestinians.

The UN also highlights the ongoing destruction of water infrastructure and medical facilities, urging donors to provide immediate aid.
