In 2018, the ministry had introduced and referred its new Bills, aimed toward regulating possible measures for protection and ensuring better human rights in Pakistan.
Year ago, in a meeting with the Delegation of European Parliament led by means of Jean Lambert Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari along with Joint secretary Human Rights Ministry Azam Khan, different high officers of ministry had briefed the EU Delegation on human rights situation in Pakistan and steps taken by present the PTI government.
The minister mentioned the diverse human rights-related issues together with the rights of women, children, and minorities in Pakistan.
