Journalism is a kind of activity or a mechanism to gather information of events, organizing them, transmitting them to the readers in a comprehensive manner and equipping them with relevant comments or analyzes.

Journalism started from Germany in 1606. 13 years later, English journalism began with Weekly News London in 1622, while Urdu journalism came two hundred years later in 1827, when Sada Sikh Mirza Puri, the secretary of the Persian weekly “Jam Jahan Nama” from Calcutta, translated it into Urdu.

Keeping in view the demands and development in the 21th century where technology has change the every sphere of the world, including the media, It is more imperative and vital now to analysis the recent trends of journalism and to clarify its usefulness.
