ISLAMABAD, Mar 14 (Alliance News): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that the opposition should withdraw the no-confidence motion in return to see what can be given to them.
Problem is that in our politics there is not much difference of policy except personalities, since this movement has been presented there has been a lot of bitterness, he said wile talking to a private news channel.
There is bitterness in the language, harsh statements are made and an atmosphere is created in which there are many things that both sides do not want to see, he added.
“Until the no-confidence motion is voted on, the political atmosphere will become so volatile that it will harm Pakistan. Therefore, in my opinion, a solution should be found so that the opposition withdraws the no-confidence motion and sees them in return,” he said. What can be given?
Asked what could be done to change the position in case of withdrawal of the motion, Fawad Chaudhry said that various issues could be discussed, such as electoral reforms, NAB law, election date and procedure besides all the issues of opposition.
The Information Minister said that given the current global situation, we would be engaged in politics for 3-4 weeks and when we look back, Pakistan’s economy would have suffered so much that it would be a problem to fix it. Therefore, the interest of the country must be seen first.
In response to a question, he said that if the opposition wants to hold early elections then this is also a demand that they can make. There is no problem in this matter. No one will.
On the question of leaving the ruling coalition on the day of voting on the no-confidence motion, he said that there was no problem. There is also an element of local politics within the party, just as if the PML-Q sided with the PML-N, there would be a reaction from within.
Usman Bazdar’s removal is not difficult, his replacement is a problem
Replying to a question, he said that it is not difficult for the Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Bazdar to step down from office. One group disagrees with the other in this position.
Fawad Chaudhry said that they are holding a rally at D-Chowk so that those who are holding small rallies can see what the rally actually is and see if the people are with us or not, so there will be a small referendum and People will have to go through the no-confidence motion and return from the same assembly.
He said that the meeting will be held at D-Chowk and there will be one million people. Let’s see what happens. That is why I am saying that the opposition should withdraw the no-confidence motion so that the bitterness does not escalate. Is.
Referring to Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan, he said that he was hopeful that their minor differences would be resolved and they would be brought back.
He further said that Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan have maintained their differences, differences arise but they will be resolved, many things will come to light in next 48 to 72 hours.
Made a big mistake by not holding local body elections in first year
In response to a question, he said that no one in PTI except me and Imran Khan is in favor of local government system, every servant wants local government not to come because if this system comes then there will be provincial finance commission, money.
We will move from the provinces to the districts which we are not allowing to happen. The Chief Minister has kept the entire administration around him. He has all the money. This system needs to be broken.
He agreed that local body elections should have been held in the first year of his government. This was one of the 2-3 big mistakes we made in the first year.
Mentioning the rest of the mistakes, he said that I had told the Prime Minister that we should try to be as good as possible that NAB is an independent body, not our subordinate. The NAB should be abolished and merged with the FIA to form a federal agency. Just like the CBI in India and Scotland Yard in the UK, there is only one agency in the world.
He said that we should have abolished NAB and merged with FIA to make it our subordinate then we solve these cases now our voter is not satisfied he thinks we are late, now NAB is not under our control Yes, but we are taking the blame for it on our own head.
