APACE Celebrates 75 Years of Sino-Pak Friendship with Cultural Performances and Music

ISLAMABAD, Sep 27 (Alliance News): The Chinese Association of Chinese Foreigners in Pakistan and the All-Pakistan Association of Chinese Enterprises (APACE) marked the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China with a grand celebration, featuring performances that highlighted the strong bond between China and Pakistan.

The event, attended by prominent figures such as Shi Yuanqiang, Minister of the Chinese Embassy, MNA Danyal Chaudhry, and Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, celebrated the enduring friendship between the two nations.

The partnership, built on mutual respect and trust over seven decades, was a key focus of the gathering.

A standout moment of the evening was a performance by renowned Pakistani singer Umair Shahid, also known by his Chinese name Omi. His heartfelt rendition of the popular song “Wo men bu yi yang,” which symbolizes the Pak-China friendship, captivated the audience.

The song, which had gone viral two years ago, was praised for its deep connection to the shared cultures of both countries. Shahid’s performance served as a cultural bridge, linking the two nations through music and tradition.

The celebration also featured traditional Chinese cultural performances, including opera, folk dances, and music, showcasing the beauty of Chinese heritage and adding a festive touch to the event.
