ISLAMABAD, May 9 (Alliance News): Pakistan Armed Forces on Friday downed six more Indian surveillance drones of Israeli origin in three separate locations across Punjab, raising the total number of enemy drones neutralized to 35, according to security sources.
One drone was intercepted in Vehari, another in Pakpattan, while four were destroyed in Okara.
The operation was carried out with precision by Pakistan’s air defence systems, which had been tracking the drones through advanced radar networks.
Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) confirmed that every hostile aerial object entering Pakistan’s airspace is constantly monitored.
“Our air defence is fully capable of detecting even the smallest aerial threats,” he said, assuring that all drone eliminations are conducted under strict operational protocols to avoid civilian casualties or risks near commercial air traffic routes.
Defence analysts commended the swift and precise action of the armed forces, calling it a clear demonstration of Pakistan’s robust defensive preparedness.
“This operation reinforces the strength of Pakistan’s surveillance and air defence capabilities,” said military experts.
