Pakistan Super League profits increase by a record 71% says Rameez Raja

ISLAMABAD, Mar 01 ( Allaince News): Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Rameez Raja while praising the success of the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League said that the profit of the league has increased by 71% which is the highest in history.

In a statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board at the end of the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Rameez Raja congratulated the management and all the people on their hard work and dedication on the success of the league.

Rameez Raja said that the profit of the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League has increased by 71% which is the highest in the history of the league under which each franchise had the highest revenue of 90 crores and this is also a record.

He attributed the success of the league to the brilliant people of Karachi and Lahore.

Chairman PCB said that during his professional career I have not seen such enthusiastic and supportive fans especially the attitude of the people of Lahore is admirable.

He added: “I am grateful for the tremendous efforts of our sponsors, players, franchisees, medical team, law enforcement agencies, local and provincial administrations, commentators, crew members and ground staff, as well as the millions who watch the league on TV worldwide.” Thanks to the fans who made the event last for four months.

Rameez Raja said that Pakistan Cricket Board intends to take the league to the home ground of all the franchises next year and increase the access to the spectators.
