ISLAMABAD, Sep 03 (Alliance News): Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), reaffirmed the program’s dedication to assisting Pakistan’s most vulnerable populations, regardless of religion, caste, or background.
During a meeting with a delegation from the Pakistan People’s Party Minority Wing, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Senator Khalid emphasized that, under the directives of the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, BISP uses a scientific and transparent approach for beneficiary registration.
She assured that BISP’s policies guarantee equal access to benefits for all eligible individuals, free from discrimination.
The delegation had previously voiced concerns about difficulties faced by their community during registration. Senator Khalid addressed these issues immediately, instructing staff to prioritize and resolve the problems.
She also expressed BISP’s willingness to work with minority communities to address any gaps and enhance their socio-economic status by providing full support.
