ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (Alliance News): A roundtable discussion titled “Character Mastery: The Key to Achieving Sustainable Success” was held at Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad on Thursday.
The event organized by the Association of Private Sector Universities Pakistan (APSUP) in collaboration with QAU, the event brought together Vice Chancellors, Rectors, and senior representatives from 25 universities and organizations.
The session, presided over by QAU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, featured Dr. Sumaira Rehman, Rector of Superior University Lahore, as a key speaker.
The participants discussed the vital role of character development in fostering sustainable success in higher education.
Recommendations from the discussion will be presented at the upcoming 5th Rectors Conference, scheduled for November 27-28 in Islamabad.
This initiative seeks to strengthen collaboration among academic institutions and promote character education as a complement to academic excellence.
The roundtable emphasized the importance of instilling core values such as integrity, professionalism, honesty, and tolerance in students to create well-rounded, successful individuals.
