ISLAMABAD, Oct 29 (Alliance News): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday expressed grave concerns over the global double standards toward humanitarian crises in Gaza, Beirut, and Israeli actions.
Addressing a ceremony marking Turkiye’s 101st Republic Day, he termed the Gaza situation a “grave injustice in modern history” and called for urgent international action against Israel’s “genocidal steps” in Palestine and provocative moves across borders.
DPM Dar emphasized Pakistan’s alignment with Turkiye on the Gaza issue, denouncing Israeli actions and affirming support for a free and viable Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds as its capital.
He highlighted that global challenges like security threats, climate change, Islamophobia, and socioeconomic struggles require unified efforts.
Regarding Pakistan-Turkiye ties, Dar noted that both nations share strong, fraternal bonds, supporting each other in global and regional platforms.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with Turkiye, particularly in the fight against terrorism, and acknowledged Turkiye’s role in supporting Pakistan’s bid for a UN Security Council seat.
He also extended his warm wishes to Turkiye on Republic Day, underscoring the enduring brotherly ties between the two countries.
