International Conference Celebrates Pakistan’s Ancient Archaeological and Civilizational Heritage

ISLAMABAD, Oct 01 (Alliance News): The International Conference on ‘Celebrating Pakistan’s Ancient Archaeological and Civilizational Heritage,’ organized by the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI), concluded with Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to preserving and promoting its rich heritage.

The one-day conference attracted diplomats, cultural experts, and academics, all eager to explore and safeguard Pakistan’s ancient treasures.

Speaking at the event, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch expressed pride in the legacy of the Indus Valley and Gandhara civilizations, emphasizing their continued relevance in modern society.

She highlighted the importance of balancing heritage conservation with tourism and development, ensuring these assets are protected for future generations.
