ISLAMABAD, July 19 (Alliance News): On Friday, Engineer Amir Muqam, the Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs, reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong support for Kashmiris on ‘Kashmir Accession to Pakistan Day.’
In his message, the minister highlighted the importance of the day, marking the resolution passed by the people of Kashmir on July 19, 1947, in Srinagar, declaring their desire to join Pakistan.
Minister Muqam emphasized the long-standing dedication of Kashmiris to this cause, pointing out the significant sacrifices they have made over the past seventy years in their fight for self-determination.
“The commitment of Kashmiris to Pakistan is eternal,” he declared, noting that no actions by India could diminish this deep connection. He highlighted how Kashmiris continue to honor their martyrs with the green crescent flag, a symbol of their enduring love for Pakistan.
He also praised the resilience of Kashmiri youth, who, like their ancestors, remain steadfast in their pursuit of self-determination and full accession to Pakistan.
“Kashmiris proudly display the Pakistani flag on every street and intersection in Occupied Kashmir,” Muqam said, illustrating the widespread support for this cause.
The minister assured that Pakistan would continue to stand with Kashmiris on all international platforms, reinforcing the nation’s unwavering commitment to their struggle for freedom and self-determination.
