Pak-Afghan Border Crossing Reopens After Nine-Day Closure Due to Tribal Clashes

PARACHINAR, Oct 01 (Alliance News):The Kharlachi border crossing in Kurram district, a key trade route between Pakistan and Afghanistan, reopened on Tuesday after being closed for nine days due to intense tribal clashes near the border, border authorities confirmed.

Security forces and police have been deployed in the area to maintain peace following the ceasefire between rival tribes.

The closure had severely affected local residents, who faced shortages of food, medicines, and fuel.
