During the visit Prime Minister Imran Khan will attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics along with cabinet members and some senior officials will also be part of the delegation.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and his counterpart Li Keqiang will hold talks. Bilateral relations, especially trade and economic ties, will be monitored by the C-Pac Center.
The Prime Minister’s visit is taking place on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. During the Prime Minister’s visit, a number of memoranda of understanding and agreements will be signed.
The Prime Minister will meet with Beijing businessmen, think tanks, academia and media representatives. The Prime Minister will also meet other leaders during the Beijing Olympics. Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that he will also meet the heads of companies interested in investing.
