ISLAMABAD, May 9 (Alliance News): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received a telephone call on Friday from Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who expressed full solidarity with Pakistan over India’s recent unprovoked attacks.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Ishaq Dar briefed his Azerbaijani counterpart on the evolving regional situation following the Indian aggression that violated Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In response, Foreign Minister Bayramov strongly condemned the illegal attacks and offered heartfelt condolences to the people of Pakistan over the loss of innocent lives.
Reaffirming the deep-rooted fraternal ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, both leaders agreed to maintain close coordination in the days ahead.
