Azerbaijan’s President Aliyev Visits Islamabad for Two-Day Official Trip

ISLAMABAD, Jul 11 (Alliance News):President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan arrived in Islamabad on Thursday for a two-day official visit from July 11-12, at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The President landed at Nur Khan Airbase in Islamabad aboard his special aircraft, where he was warmly greeted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and senior cabinet members, including Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar.

A 21-gun salute marked his arrival, accompanied by two children who presented him with bouquets in traditional attire.

During his stay, President Aliyev is scheduled to hold meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz and President Asif Ali Zardari.

The discussions between the leaders will cover a wide range of topics aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.

It is anticipated that several agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed to strengthen ties and foster collaboration in various fields of mutual interest.
