ISLAMABAD, Jun 16 (Alliance News): Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, on Sunday commended Pakistan’s security forces for their successful counter-terrorism operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which led to the elimination of five terrorists.
In a statement, Senator Khalid lauded the “remarkable courage” shown by the forces under dangerous circumstances.
“The security forces have once again demonstrated outstanding bravery under extreme threat and neutralized militants responsible for heinous crimes against innocent civilians,” she said.
She emphasized that Pakistan’s security personnel have always remained on the front lines to protect the country from internal and external threats.
“These terrorists were acting as proxies of India and posed a direct threat to our national security,” she noted.
Senator Rubina Khalid reiterated that the nation stands united behind its armed forces. “We salute their sacrifices and courage. Their selfless services and valor will always be remembered,” she concluded.
