Dar Reviews Preparations for Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission Session

ISLAMABAD, June 13 (Alliance News): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Friday chaired a high-level meeting to finalize preparations for the 12th session of the Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC), scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi.

The meeting was attended by the Special Assistant to the Deputy Prime Minister, federal secretaries of economic affairs, commerce, maritime affairs, interior, inter-provincial coordination, national heritage, and health, along with senior officials from the ministries of foreign affairs, overseas Pakistanis, finance, railways, defence, and tourism.

The discussions centred on deepening existing bilateral collaboration, formalizing new agreements, and exploring investment opportunities in key sectors.

The agenda also included strategies to attract UAE investments in Pakistan’s priority areas.

Deputy Prime Minister Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to enhancing economic and trade ties with the UAE, stressing that both countries enjoy historic fraternal relations that must be translated into tangible economic outcomes.
