WASHINGTON, June 13 (Alliance News): Former US President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Iran, urging Tehran to return to negotiations or face “very serious consequences.”
In an interview with foreign media, Trump hinted at the possibility of further major attacks on Iranian targets, saying that “time is running out.”
Trump claimed that Iran had previously been offered a chance to make a deal, and while negotiations came close, no final agreement was reached.
“Some hardline Iranian officials spoke bravely, but they had no idea what was going to happen to them,” he said, adding that “those hardline elements have now been eliminated.”
Trump further emphasized that both the United States and Israel possess the world’s most advanced and lethal weapons. “Iran should still come to the deal—before there is nothing left,” he warned.
The former president’s remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East following Israel’s recent strikes on Iranian military and nuclear sites, and Iranian threats of retaliation.
