NEW YORK, June 4 (Alliance News): As Day One of Pakistan’s multi-party delegation concludes with a full schedule of diplomatic engagements, the high-level outreach is being met with strong appreciation and respect from the international community.

Pakistan’s firm yet measured response to India’s unilateral aggression has been widely acknowledged as a mature and principled approach to regional peace.

The delegation—comprising leaders from major political parties and key government figures—is being led by PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who is joined by Senator Sherry Rehman, Federal Minister Dr. Musadik Malik (PML-N), Khurram Dastgir Khan (PML-N), Faisal Sabzwari (MQM), senior government officials, and members of the civil and diplomatic services.

Together, they are representing a united front of Pakistan’s political and institutional voices on global forums.

Their central message is clear: the world must reject policies based on aggression and instead embrace dialogue and cooperation as the path to sustainable peace in South Asia.

This unified Pakistani voice, coming from across party lines, is being viewed as a responsible and much-needed response to India’s doctrine of perpetual hostility.

Throughout the day, the delegation engaged with diplomatic missions, multilateral organizations, and policy think tanks, emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to peace, regional cooperation, and development.

At each stop, they highlighted that Pakistan’s approach is rooted in international law, diplomacy, and respect for human rights—particularly in light of continued violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir.

Speaking at a closed-door roundtable, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari underscored the dangers of unchecked aggression in the region and reiterated Pakistan’s offer of constructive dialogue.

“There is no military solution to regional disputes. Pakistan’s stance is not only rational but responsible. We are here not to escalate, but to engage,” he said.

Senator Sherry Rehman, known for her experience in diplomacy and climate policy, echoed this sentiment by framing the Pakistan delegation’s efforts as part of a broader vision of regional stability and sustainability.

“We are bringing a message of peace, not just for ourselves, but for all the people of South Asia,” she stated during a UN side session on climate and security.

Observers from international institutions—including the United Nations, OIC, and diplomatic observers from Europe and the Middle East—commended the delegation for its calm, cohesive, and policy-focused approach.

One EU diplomat noted, “This is not just a political tour. It is a unified call for sanity, for dialogue, and for peace at a time when it is most needed.”

Dr. Musadik Malik, Faisal Sabzwari, and Khurram Dastgir Khan also took part in thematic sessions related to regional connectivity, trade, and humanitarian concerns.

The presence of this broad political spectrum reflected Pakistan’s national consensus on issues of sovereignty, dignity, and peaceful coexistence.

The delegation also used the occasion to spotlight the grave situation in Indian-occupied Jammu & Kashmir, calling on the international community to play a proactive role in ensuring justice, ending human rights violations, and facilitating meaningful dialogue between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.

Pakistan’s decision to present a unified voice—cutting across political divides—has added weight to its message. At a time when international attention is focused on crises in Europe and the Middle East, Pakistan’s responsible diplomacy has resonated as a model of mature statecraft.

As the mission moves into its next phase, it is clear that Pakistan’s voice—measured, collective, and morally grounded—is being heard. And it is one calling for peace.
