ISLAMABAD, Jun 02 (Alliance News): High-level Pakistani delegations are set to begin visits to key world capitals starting Monday to present Pakistan’s perspective on recent Indian aggression, as directed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to a Foreign Office statement, the delegations will visit New York, Washington DC, London, Brussels, and Moscow from June 2, 2025.

A nine-member multiparty delegation led by Pakistan People’s Party Chairman and former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari includes senior figures such as Climate Change Minister Dr. Musadik Masood Malik, Senator Sherry Rehman, former Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, and former ministers Khurram Dastgir Khan and Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari, alongside Senators Bushra Anjum Butt and two former Foreign Secretaries, Ambassadors Jalil Abbas Jilani and Tehmina Janjua.

Separately, a delegation led by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi will visit Moscow from June 2.

The delegations aim to highlight Pakistan’s responsible and restrained stance amid India’s alleged belligerence, emphasizing the need for dialogue and diplomacy over conflict.

They will urge the international community to promote lasting peace in South Asia and stress the immediate resumption of the Indus Waters Treaty.

Engagements will include meetings with international organizations, government officials, parliamentarians, think tanks, media, and the Pakistani diaspora.
