ISLAMABAD, Feb 11 (Alliance News): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the under-construction F-8 Jinnah Avenue Interchange in Islamabad on Sunday, inspecting the final stages of the flyover project.
During the visit, he directed that the project be completed 100% by February 18, emphasizing the urgent need to finalize all components, including connecting roads and landscaping.
Naqvi met with workers at the site, appreciating their round-the-clock efforts to meet the deadline. He praised their dedication and encouraged them to maintain their commitment.
He also ordered the immediate removal of debris from the project site and warned that any delays or shortcomings in the beautification work would not be tolerated. Additionally, he instructed that work on the connecting roads under the flyover be expedited.
Federal Secretary of Interior Muhammad Khurram Agha, CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa, IG Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi, Deputy Commissioner Irfan Memon, project contractors, and other officials accompanied the minister during the visit. The project director briefed him on the ongoing progress.
