MANAMA, Nov 26 (Alliance News): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday arrived in Bahrain for a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening high-level engagement and expanding bilateral and regional cooperation.
The prime minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister of State Bilal Azhar Kayani and senior officials.
As the prime minister’s aircraft touched down at Bahrain International Airport, he was warmly received by Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani and other senior officials.
The Bahrain armed forces’ static guards offered a ceremonial salute in honour of the visiting dignitary.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz will hold high-level meetings with Bahrain’s leadership, including King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
The discussions will focus on further deepening cooperation in trade, investment, energy, technology, education and culture.
The visit underscores Pakistan’s continued commitment to strengthening its partnership with Bahrain and advancing a results-oriented, strategic relationship between the two countries.
