Case Registered Against PTI Workers Over August 14 Sit-In Plan

ISLAMABAD, Aug 11 (Alliance News): Police have registered a case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers for allegedly planning a sit-in on August 14.

According to details, the case was filed at Shahzad Town police station and includes eight sections, including provisions of the Public Order Act. Authorities said PTI workers were arrested from the Shahzad Town area.

The FIR stated that around 40 PTI workers were holding a meeting in Hostel City to discuss the sit-in plan when police conducted a raid. The workers were reportedly carrying banners and sticks and chanting provocative slogans.

Police said the group intended to join the August 14 sit-in.
