ISLAMABAD, April 06 (Alliance News):The federal government has assured its coalition partners that petroleum prices will be reduced once the market stabilizes.
A joint parliamentary party meeting of the ruling alliance was held under Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, attended by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Petroleum Minister Ali Pervez Malik, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, and other key party leaders including representatives from PML-N, PPP, and MQM.
Minister of State for Petroleum Ali Pervez Malik briefed the members on steps taken to ensure an uninterrupted supply of petroleum products.
Following the meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said coalition leaders expressed confidence in government policies and reviewed further measures to stabilize fuel prices.
The ministers emphasized continued monitoring of the situation and assured that price adjustments would follow once normalcy returns.
The meeting reflects the government’s commitment to proactive communication with partners amid global market volatility affecting energy costs.
