Ishaq Dar Arrives in Kuala Lumpur to Attend 32nd ASEAN Regional Forum Meeting

KUALA LUMPUR, Jul 10 (Alliance News): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Malaysia’s capital on Thursday to participate in the 32nd ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Ministerial Meeting, scheduled for Friday.

Upon his arrival at the Kuala Lumpur airport, Dar was warmly received by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Syed Ahsan Raza, along with senior officials from the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The high-level forum will bring together foreign ministers and representatives from 27 ARF member countries, as well as the Secretary-General of ASEAN.

The participants are expected to deliberate on key political and security challenges in the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on fostering peace, regional stability, and strengthening cooperation through multilateral dialogue.

Deputy Prime Minister Dar will also hold bilateral meetings with his Malaysian counterpart and other foreign dignitaries attending the forum.

In addition to his official engagements, he is scheduled to interact with members of the Pakistani community in Kuala Lumpur.
