ISLAMABAD, Jul 15 (Alliance News): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Tuesday on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Tianjin, China.
According to a statement from the DPM’s Office, both leaders expressed satisfaction over the growing momentum in bilateral relations and agreed to further deepen cooperation in key sectors including trade, energy, agriculture, and defence.
Senator Ishaq Dar also reiterated Pakistan’s invitation for Foreign Minister Lavrov to visit Islamabad, signaling continued efforts to expand diplomatic and economic engagement between the two countries.
