Pakistan, Turkiye Reaffirm Solidarity with Palestine Amid Humanitarian Crisis

JEDDAH, Aug 26, Alliance News: Pakistan and Turkiye on Tuesday reiterated their unwavering solidarity with Palestine, expressing deep concern over the worsening humanitarian crisis and famine, and stressed the urgent need for humanitarian assistance and relief measures.

The matter was discussed during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the 21st Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Senator Dar expressed appreciation for Turkiye’s leadership role as Chair of the 51st OIC Council of Foreign Ministers, acknowledging Ankara’s continued efforts in advancing the Palestinian cause at international forums.

Both leaders reaffirmed the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and Turkiye and agreed on enhancing multifaceted cooperation in diverse fields, while underscoring the importance of collective action within the OIC framework to support the people of Palestine.
