ZHOB, Aug 12 (Alliance News): Security forces have killed 50 Indian-backed Khawarij in a four-day counter-terrorism operation in Balochistan’s Zhob district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.
According to the ISPR, 47 militants were eliminated during operations in the Sambaza area from August 7 to 9. Subsequently, a clearance operation was launched in the suburbs of Sambaza, near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, on the night of August 10 and 11, resulting in the killing of three more militants.
Security forces also recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the militants’ possession.
The ISPR stated that security forces remain determined to defend the homeland, safeguard the borders, and thwart all attempts to undermine peace, stability, and development in the country.
