Visio Spark-2025 Showcases Pakistan’s Emerging Tech Talent at CUI Wah

ISLAMABAD, Nov 30 (Alliance News): COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Wah Campus hosted the 21st edition of its national-level mega IT event, Visio Spark-2025, energising young professionals and equipping them to meet modern technological challenges.

The event drew more than 1,500 students from 50 leading universities and institutions across Pakistan, marking one of the largest gatherings of the country’s emerging tech talent.

Participants competed in 17 categories, including software development, robotics, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and other fast-evolving fields.

According to a news release, the competitions were designed to foster innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence among the next generation of technology leaders.

Welcoming the judges, guests, and teams, CUI Wah Campus Director Professor Dr. Ehsan Ullah Munir said Visio Spark had matured into a premier platform that bridges academia and industry.

He noted that the event enabled students to transform classroom knowledge into practical, real-world problem-solving, strengthening their readiness for professional challenges.

Prof. Dr. Munir thanked the judges, organizers, faculty members, and participants for their dedication, and acknowledged the contributions of sponsors, including the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Intag Laptop Stores, ENUM Consultancy, Study Expert, and Nets (Software House).

The closing ceremony was attended by the chief guest, Professor Dr. Saeed Badshah, Vice Chancellor of the University of Technology (UoT), Nowshera.

Commending CUI Wah and the participating institutions, he highlighted the university’s role in shaping future innovators through this national platform.

He encouraged students to prepare for rapidly evolving technological demands to remain competitive globally.

The ceremony concluded with the chief guest, joined by the Campus Director and event sponsors, presenting souvenirs to the judges and awarding cash prizes to the winning teams in recognition of their outstanding performance.
