ISLAMABAD, Feb 14 (Alliance News): Saudi Arabia has expressed strong interest in investing in Pakistan’s M-10 Motorway project, marking a significant step toward enhanced regional connectivity and economic cooperation.

The development emerged during a high-level meeting between Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan and Saudi Minister for Transport and Logistics Saleh Bin Nasser Al‑Jasser on the sidelines of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation conference in Istanbul.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral collaboration in transport, maritime affairs, and trade corridors.

Abdul Aleem Khan formally invited Saudi Arabia to invest in the M-10 Motorway, which proposes a new alignment from Karachi Port to Hyderabad, and emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to Public-Private Partnerships to modernize infrastructure.

Both sides also discussed promoting connectivity among OIC member states to boost regional trade.
