Pakistan to Hold Single Country Exhibition in Ethiopia in May

ISLAMABAD, Apr 18 (Alliance News): Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal on Thursday met Ethiopian Ambassador Dr. Jamal Bakar to review preparations for Pakistan’s upcoming single country exhibition in Ethiopia.

Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Commerce and Industry, Rana Ehsan Afzal, also participated in the meeting.

The meeting was informed that a business forum titled “Investment in Ethiopia” will take place in Addis Ababa from May 12 to 13, followed by Pakistan’s single country exhibition from May 15 to 17 in the Ethiopian capital.

Both sides expressed satisfaction over the collaborative efforts of the Ethiopian Embassy, Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce, and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) to ensure the success of the event.

The Ethiopian ambassador briefed the meeting on his engagements with various Pakistani chambers of commerce and confirmed that both the Ethiopian government and its business community are fully prepared to welcome the Pakistani delegation.

He also noted that the recent launch of Ethiopian Airlines’ operations in Pakistan has opened a new chapter in bilateral ties with the African continent.

Federal Minister Jam Kamal said the exhibition would serve as a significant milestone in deepening trade relations between Pakistan and Africa. He emphasized that coordinated efforts were vital to making the event a success.
