According to the PMD, moist currents are already entering these regions, and a westerly wave is expected to hit the upper parts of Pakistan on May 28, triggering widespread weather activity.

In Punjab, districts likely to be affected include Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mianwali, Sargodha, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Okara, Lahore, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Gujranwala, Gujrat, and Sheikhupura.
