PM Shehbaz Approves Appointment of New Ambassadors to UAE, Russia

ISLAMABAD, Aug 11 (Alliance News): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the appointment of Pakistan’s new ambassadors to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Russia on the recommendation of Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

According to official sources, Shafqat Ali Khan, currently serving as spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has been appointed as Pakistan’s new ambassador to the UAE. He has previously served as the country’s ambassador to Poland and Russia.

Meanwhile, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, the incumbent ambassador to the UAE, has been appointed as Pakistan’s new envoy to Russia.
