LAHORE, Jul 5 (Alliance News): Two foreign women have recorded statements before a judicial magistrate alleging that they were kidnapped, repeatedly sexually assaulted and robbed after being lured to Pakistan by a man they described as their business partner.
According to police, a case has been registered at Defence C Police Station in Lahore against five suspects, including Muhammad Raza Dar, on charges of alleged kidnapping, rape, extortion and other offences involving two foreign nationals—a Dutch and a Spanish citizen. The accused are currently on physical remand as investigations continue.
In her statement before the magistrate, the Dutch woman said she and the other victim travelled to Pakistan after receiving an invitation from Dar, whom they had met in Singapore in October 2025 during business dealings. She alleged that Dar arranged their visas and initially hosted them by taking them to meetings, sightseeing tours and dinners.
The complainant alleged that on June 29, Dar took them to a residence in Lahore on the pretext of attending a family gathering, where several armed men entered, restrained them and subjected them to physical abuse. She further claimed that approximately $17,000 was transferred from her cryptocurrency account without her consent during the incident.
The Spanish woman, in her statement, alleged that she was physically assaulted, threatened with death and repeatedly subjected to sexual violence by one of the suspects. She further claimed that the attackers demanded money and warned the victims that refusal would cost them their lives.
According to the police report, the victims were invited to Pakistan by Dar following a business partnership established in Singapore. Investigators say the case came to light after an emergency rescue operation, leading to the registration of the First Information Report (FIR).
Police have taken all five suspects into custody and launched a comprehensive investigation. Authorities said forensic evidence is being collected while the statements of the victims are being examined as part of the legal proceedings.
No official statement has yet been issued by the accused or their legal representatives regarding the allegations. The case remains under investigation, and the allegations have not yet been tested in court.
