Iran reaches out to Pak, Saudia and Türkiye, warns US against further military action

TEHRAN, Aug 02 (Alliance News): Iran has reached out to Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye amid escalating regional tensions, warning the United States against any further military action while reaffirming its readiness to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

According to Iranian media, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with Syed Asim Munir to discuss the evolving regional security situation.

Araghchi also held separate telephone conversations with Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and Hakan Fidan to exchange views on the growing tensions involving the United States.

During the discussions, the Iranian foreign minister cautioned Washington against any military adventurism, stressing that Iran is fully prepared to defend its national sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security.

In a statement posted on his official Telegram channel, Araghchi said Iran would respond decisively to any act of aggression against the country.
