ISLAMABAD, Aug 07 (Alliance News): Pakistan’s textile exports reached a record high of $1.833 billion in July 2026, marking the highest monthly export figure in the country’s history despite regional uncertainty and global economic challenges.
According to official data, textile exports increased by 43% compared to $1.282 billion recorded in June 2026. On a year-on-year basis, exports also rose by 9.11% from $1.68 billion in July 2025.
The latest figures reflect strong global demand for Pakistani textile products and highlight the sector’s resilience despite regional tensions, global economic pressures, and trade uncertainties.
Official statistics further showed that Pakistan’s total textile exports during FY2025-26 reached $17.97 billion, slightly higher than $17.91 billion recorded in FY2024-25, representing an annual increase of 0.34%.
Although overall yearly growth remained modest, the exceptional performance in July 2026 indicates improving export momentum and strengthens expectations for sustained growth in the coming months.
The textile industry remains Pakistan’s largest export sector and continues to play a vital role in generating foreign exchange earnings and supporting the national economy.
