Rwanda to host Pakistan investment forum in September

ISLAMABAD, Aug. 11 (Alliance News): The High Commission of Rwanda in Pakistan, in collaboration with the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), has announced the Rwanda-Pakistan Investment Forum, scheduled to be held in Kigali from September 23 to 25, 2026.

According to the High Commission, the three-day forum will bring together Pakistani business leaders, investors, exporters, industrialists and entrepreneurs with Rwandan government officials and private sector representatives to explore investment and trade opportunities.

The event will feature business-to-business (B2B) meetings, networking sessions, investment promotion activities and sector-specific discussions aimed at fostering new commercial partnerships.

Investment opportunities will be showcased in manufacturing, agribusiness, information and communication technology (ICT), mining, tourism, logistics, renewable energy, healthcare and financial services.

A special “Made in Pakistan” exhibition will also be organised, providing Pakistani companies with an opportunity to display their products and services to African and international investors.

The High Commission said Rwanda offers a secure investment climate, modern infrastructure, transparent governance, investor-friendly policies and competitive incentives.

Investors in Rwanda can access the East African Community (EAC) market of more than 300 million consumers, as well as the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), which provides potential access to a market of over 1.4 billion people.

The High Commission added that Rwanda allows 100% foreign ownership across all sectors and places no restrictions on capital repatriation.

The forum aims to strengthen economic ties between Rwanda and Pakistan by promoting trade, investment and long-term business cooperation.
