ISLAMABAD, April 18(Alliance News): The Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan, Paulo Guiddes Dominguez, along with his wife Carla Sofia Dominguez and embassy officials, visited the Faisal Mosque, one of Pakistan’s most iconic religious and architectural landmarks.
The visit was hosted by Grand Imam Muhammad Ilyas, who briefed the delegation on the mosque’s history, unique architectural design, and its significance in the country’s religious and social life.
The embassy noted that the visit provided an important opportunity to better understand Islamic culture and traditions, while also strengthening intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding between Portugal and Pakistan.
The Embassy of Portugal expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended during the visit and described the engagement as meaningful and informative.
