Protests continue even after several days in Iran

ISLAMABAD, Sept 28 (Alliance News): Iranian government was facing immense protest demonstrations after even a several days later, protests continue in various cities over the death of 22-year-old Mehsa Amini in police custody in Iran.

Clashes took place between security forces and protesters in many cities, security forces also fired tear gas to disperse the protesters.

Foreign media have claimed that 76 people have been killed and more than 900 injured so far in the crackdown on protesters, while the number of deaths is being reported in Iranian media as 41.

It should be noted that Mehsa Amini died on September 16 due to a heart attack while in police custody in Iran. 22-year-old Mehsa Amini was detained in Tehran for not wearing a scarf.

After the death of Mahsa Amini, protests are continuing in different cities of Iran, the protesters are demanding that the hijab be banned and violence and discrimination against women be ended.
